Friday Forum: Back in Time

For some of the history buffs out there, or those with a creative imagination:

If you could live for one week at any time in history, when would it be and why?

These should be interesting! Leave your response in the comments.

If I were to live in a certain era it would in the 50-60's because I loved the dress at that time. The poodle skirts, bobby socks, the guys wore t-shirts rolled up on the sleeves, hair slicked back, leather jackets. The cars were way cool and exciting, and the music, was the bomb!! I mean you have the Beatles, Elvis, and jazz, and the dance also was so much fun. The chance to be around when some history was being made, like Martin Luther King's speech, man landed on the moon, television was invented, and soo much more. I know any century comes with hardships, but those just seemed a bit more simple than today.

I'd live during the 60's, because it would be amazing to witness so much change in that decade! It'd be awesome to be able to experience the Civil Rights Movement, firsthand
