Mother's Day is this weekend, so we think this is a great time to reflect a bit on our own experiences with our mothers or as mothers.
What life lessons have you learned from your mother? If you are a mother, what lessons have you passed down, or hope to pass down to your children?

I just got off the phone with my mom a few minutes ago. This Mother's Day I am thinking a lot about how mom's mold character and how much work this is! My mom is full of little adages that praise hard work and bouncing back from difficulties and failures. It's one thing to say it, but it is entirely another thing to live one's advice and serve as an example. Hot air and empty words mean little if they are not followed through with action. Seeing how my mom leads by example has inspired me to live up to her expectations and try to become half the woman she is.
